Wasaya Airways depends on a diverse fleet of aircraft to provide a vast network of services to customers in Northwestern Ontario and beyond. Our passenger fleet is the most modern of any air carrier in Northwestern Ontario, and all of our aircraft offer two key features: they are suited to operate in northern climates and on shorter gravel runways.

Beech 1900D

The 1900D is an exceptional aircraft for business travel and is a popular choice for many of Wasaya Airways’ private and public sector customers.

Cessna C208B Caravan

Uniquely equipped for smaller volume cargo loads up to 3000, and or 9 passengers. The large cargo pod allows for more than ample luggage space.

The Caravan is also a perfect aircraft to move groups of people around for inter-community gatherings and cultural events.

Pilatus PC-12

The Pilatus PC-12 is very similar to the Cessna Caravan, in terms of cargo and passenger carrying capacity. The biggest difference between the two aircraft is that the PC-12 is pressurized enabling it to get above the weather. That coupled with its speed and comfortable cabin makes it very popular with our customers.

Dash 8

The Dash 8 is a regional turboprop airliner introduced in 1984. Known for its fuel efficiency, reliability, and short takeoff and landing capabilities, it is widely used for commuter flights.

ATR 42

This aircraft is designed for smaller bulk cargo loads as well as split loads between two locations. Its 10,500 pound payload offers the best value in class when it comes to costs vs payload.

Our fleet of ATR-72s are the only oversized cargo door aircraft in its class, in the region. This positions Wasaya as the leading provider of oversized cargo items and specialized missions requiring an extra large door.
