Wasaya is seeking an Inventory Rotables Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Rotables Clerk, you will play a vital role in establishing accounts and relationships with aircraft supply vendors for the procurement of rotable aircraft items. Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining consignment stock by processing core returns and ensuring stock is replenished.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishing accounts and relationships with aircraft supply vendors for the procurement of rotable aircraft items.
- Maintains consignment stock by processing core returns and ensuring stock is replenished.
- Ship Wasaya Airways owned cores for repair to ensure rotable stock is always in inventory.
- Ensures that cores are returned to Vendors in a timely manner.
- Completes all paperwork related to core returns including shipping bills, non-incident
- statements and assembly listings.
- Ensures that repair purchase orders are included in the weekly purchasing spreadsheet for approval.
- Reports regularly to the Stores Manager regarding rotable status.
- Completes all required training prior to due dates.
- Participates in annual inventory count at any base as required.
- Helps with shipping and receiving of large items utilizing the forklift.
- Foster a healthy working environment and promote a positive climate within the workplace.
- Any other related duties as assigned
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Excellent computer skills, MS-Office preferable, proficient in use of internet and email
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always
- The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
- Previous airline experience is an asset.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel may be required.
- May be exposed to loud noise, dirt, oil, and fumes.
- Safety equipment will be required and provided (PPE)*

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move up to 75lbs.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
